Case study: Bologna Design Week – Youtool
The collaboration between Synextya and Youtool has allowed us to give a digital look to the Bologna Design Week event for 3 consecutive years with the creation of a dedicated native app, for both iOS and Android, directly connected to the database and contents of the event website.
YOUTOOL // design out of the box was born virtually on September 19, 2011 and supports the passion for design as a value and tool that transforms ideas into functional and timeless products.
YOUTOOL// design out of the box is a network of design professionals that offers companies innovative project design, production, communication and sales services.
The goal was to increase the involvement of participants at the event and support them throughout the orientation process in Bologna city center, the event is characterized by the fact that it is spread throughout the historic city center, involving both art galleries and design shops.
Bologna Design Week is an event conceived and organized by Youtool, a communication agency that has been facilitating the meeting between designers and companies since 2011. It is an annual event organized in the historic center in collaboration with Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings.
The Culture mApp product is listed in native apps based on geolocation and filters to quickly consult and find all the events, by category, which are then subdivided into each of the days featured throughout Bologna design week.

With the collaboration of SYNEXTYA, a further step has been taken towards the total digital transformation of the meal voucher system.
Today, with BLUBE Pay, all you need is your smartphone to use your meal vouchers!
The project, in collaboration with SYNEXTYA, has brought Airex S.p.A. considerable advantages from the point of view of streamlining business processes by simplifying and speeding up the sales process, made more complex by the customization of prices based on specific agreements with customers and retailers, in addition to the ever-changing discounts applied to order quantities.
Synextya participated, as a technological partner, in the creation of a digital platform for the Emilia Romagna Region with the aim of digitizing and simplifying the consultation of analyses on the main corporations’ financial statement data as well as for those of the cooperatives of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
