THE CUSTOMER
The project was created in collaboration with Brands Up Srl, an advertising and marketing agency set up to grow companies, businesses and freelancers.
The idea arose from the desire to create a useful but also engaging tool to make the moment of gift-giving special, remove stress and doubt and leave room for the desire to make the other person happy.
THE CHALLENGE
The aim was to develop two native apps, for iOS and Android operating systems, and revolutionise the traditional method of gift-giving.
No more stress, no more bad gifts, no more disorganisation. Every user must be able to create their own wish list, choosing items from major marketplaces such as Amazon and Ebay, and share it with whomever they wish. But not only that, Opengift is configured as if it were a social network, the user can keep up to date with their friends' wish lists, book gifts so that no one steals their idea, compare different offers and purchase items directly from their smartphone.
THE SOLUTION
Synextya took up the challenge and created two native apps where any user can create public and private wish lists that can be shared with friends and family.
In the homepage of the app, just like a social network feed, there are updates from friends, recently created lists, and the latest additions, all so you can stay up-to-date with your friends' wishes and be able to give the right gift.
The data sources are the major online stores, such as Amazon and Ebay, the user only has to search for the gift they want and the suggestion list will auto-complete and show the items in the stores.
