Case study: CFR / Emilia Romagna Region

Synextya, in collaboration with Avv. Andrea Lolli and Avv. Tania Tomasi, participated as a technological partner in the creation of a digital platform which was subsequently made available to the Emilia Romagna Region.

The application aims to digitize and simplify the analysis consultation on the main corporations’ and co-operatives’ financial reports as well as for that of the Emilia-Romagna Region in order to assess financial and economic conditions and also to provide a preventive risk indicator.

The customer

Since 2015, the Consorzio Futuro in Ricerca (CFR) has been a Centre for Innovation accredited to the High Technology Network of the Emilia Romagna Region.

It is a non-profit organization, with both public and private participation, which aims to promote the development and enhancement of human, scientific, technological and economic resources both in and around the city of Ferrara.

The Consortium promotes and supports research, innovation, and technology transfer, acting as a representative for Universities, Research Centers, Public Bodies, and Industrial Companies both in Italy and abroad, aiming to bring together know-how generators, industrial organizations, and the working world.

The challenge

A team of lawyers and consultants have taken up the challenge of creating an objective evaluation system, based upon a series of economic and mathematical indicators as well as qualitative considerations of each social context, in order to define preventive risk zones which will be associated with all the main companies in Emilia Romagna.

The solution

Starting with sharing and digitizing all the historical financial statements of 613 Emilia-Romagna companies, with reference to the five years prior to the analysis, we have come up with a reproduction of an automatic calculation system that allows us to generate a risk indicator, which over the years can be updated automatically with the entry of new economic-financial data.

The project consists of a web portal that can be customized according to the needs of the individual customer, accessible to all figures involved in the various welfare projects.
